Dream Jam World is comprised of a laboratory/facility in Westchester,
NY, satellite locations in the tri-state area and the award-winning Dream
Jam Band. For more than 10 years, children and their parents have been captivated
and enthralled by the very best activities and adventures for children. Dream
Jam offers programs including music- & movement- centric book clubs, dance
and exercise classes, all using original and
traditional/popular music. The laboratory includes a continuing program of
research and development of age-appropriate curricula and an advisory panel
of educators, song writers and musicians, authors and publishers, and parents.
The Dream Jam Band is an acclaimed group of multi-talented musicians whose music is loved by everyone from toddlers to parents and grandparents. They instantly connect with children by delivering melodies full of unbridled joy and happiness. They won four 2008 Children's Music Web Awards, were featured on the PBS Kids Sprout Network, appeared live at Kidzapalooza at Lollapalooza, 2008 and many other performances around the country. Their first album was met with high acclaim and garnered immediate heavy airplay on children's music shows throughout the country, and has been particularly popular at the 24 hour a day children's channels at XM Sirius Satellite Radio.
The Dream Jam Book Club is a book club for children created to instill a love of books & reading by bringing each book's theme to life through sets, props, music, movement and art activities. The program stimulates and encourages lively and thoughtful discussion and active participation.
Baby Dream Jam Book Club is a dynamic adventure where moms and babies share a magical bond through their love of books. Babies (6 to 24 months) and their moms/caregivers jam together using books to create an interactive, energized and exciting music and movement experience.
Dream Jamercise is an exciting non-recital based, non competitive hip-hop and exercise class which builds confidence and self esteem, promoting positive body image and aerobic health. Each high energy class has great hip-hop choreography, taught with the music children love.
