The Lion Puppet
You will need:
- Colored or white paper to print lion parts
- Crayons or markers
- Colored wool
- Assorted materials for collage: bits of tissue paper, cotton balls, doll
hair, googly eyes, etc.
- Glue
- Scissors
- Popsicle sticks or drinking straws
- Round head paper fasteners

and the pieces of the lion puppet
- Fold 8" by 11" paper in half lengthwise. Cut in half. Fold
into an accordion. This will create the body of the lion.
- Cut out the lion's head.
- Cut out the tail.
- Decorate the head and glue on hair and eyes.
- Decorate the body with markers or crayons and lots of glued on collage
materials (bits of tissue paper, cotton balls, etc.)
- Glue strands of wool to the tail and color.
- Connect head, body and tail with round head paper fasteners.
- Attach popsicle sticks to bottom of body with glue
